Dichinanek’ Design is a Native and female owned, and operated, business.

I am Dichinanek’ Hwt’ana which translates to the “timber people” of interior Alaska.

All of my creations are inspired by my ancestors, animals, land and stories from home.

My grandmother was a beader, an artist. As were both of my maternal great-grandmother’s. They created out of necessity but also out of love. Today, I follow them in their love of creating; through jewelry making, painting or drawing.

I believe that the creation of art is a way for me to express my Indigenous resiliency. To me, this serves as medicine for my soul.
